Chronology

This chronology documents Erik Brunetti’s life and practice through a continuously researched historical record.

Beginning with his early development in late-1980s Los Angeles, it traces the formation of FUCT, the evolution of his studio practice, significant exhibitions and publications, major bodies of work, and events that have shaped the public and institutional reception of his work.

Entries may include:

  • Significant artworks and bodies of work

  • Exhibitions and installations

  • Publications and editorial projects

  • Collaborations and production milestones

  • Legal and cultural events

  • Lectures, interviews, and public programs

  • Archival and institutional developments

Wherever possible, entries are supported by contemporaneous evidence, including correspondence, photographs, exhibition materials, publications, production records, press coverage, and other primary-source documentation.

The chronology is intended as a factual research resource rather than an interpretive biography. It will continue to be revised as additional documentation is verified through the Foundation’s archive and Catalogue Raisonné research.
