About the Foundation
The Erik Brunetti Foundation for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to preserving, documenting, and advancing independent artistic and cultural production through archival stewardship, research, publications, exhibitions, and public programs.
Established around the preservation and study of materials relating to Erik Brunetti’s practice, the Foundation maintains the FUCT Archive as a core holding while supporting a broader public mission. Its collections encompass artworks, original graphics, mechanicals, prototypes, process materials, photographs, printed matter, publications, correspondence, and cultural ephemera documenting more than three decades of artistic and cultural production.
The Foundation serves as an institutional resource for museums, scholars, curators, artists, collectors, publishers, and researchers. Its work supports the responsible care of primary-source materials, the development of reliable documentation, and public access to independently produced cultural histories.
Activities include:
Stewardship of archival collections and artworks
Preparation of the Catalogue Raisonné of Erik Brunetti
Scholarly research and policy publications
Institutional loans and research access
Exhibition and publication collaboration
Visiting artist and educational programs
Cultural preservation and exchange initiatives
Through this work, the Foundation seeks to ensure that significant artistic contributions remain documented, contextualized, and accessible to future generations.
