Q & A

Q: Are any of the Foundation’s works available for purchase or private acquisition?

A:

The Erik Brunetti Foundation for the Arts does not operate as a commercial gallery and does not maintain works for private sale. However, in accordance with nonprofit governance standards and curatorial best practices, select works may be formally deaccessioned from the Foundation’s holdings.

Deaccessioning is undertaken only under exceptional circumstances—guided by institutional need, archival scope, and fiduciary stewardship. Such actions may result in the release of a work through recognized private placement or public sale channels, including museum acquisition, blue-chip art brokerage, or internationally recognized auction houses.

All proceeds are directed exclusively toward the Foundation’s mission-aligned operations, including conservation, public programming, and historical preservation.

Inquiries regarding institutional acquisition, private placement, or deaccession opportunities must be submitted in writing to the Foundation’s curatorial office.
