Repository

The Erik Brunetti Foundation for the Arts maintains a digital repository for the long-term preservation and citation of selected research publications, documentary records, audiovisual materials, and supporting files.

Hosted through Zenodo, an open research repository operated by CERN, repository records include persistent identifiers, authorship and publication metadata, version information, rights statements, and stable access independent of changes to the Foundation’s website. When revised versions are deposited, the publication history remains documented, supporting transparent correction and continued citation.

The Repository is distinct from the Foundation’s physical Archive, which preserves artworks, objects, working materials, correspondence, photographs, and other primary-source holdings. Inclusion in the digital Repository does not imply unrestricted access to any related physical materials.

Versioning

Repository records identify the version available at the time of deposit. When a substantive revision is issued:

  • The revised file receives an updated version designation.

  • Earlier versions remain identifiable where supported by the repository.

  • The record describes the nature of the revision.

  • Citations should identify the version consulted.

This approach preserves continuity between versions while maintaining a transparent record of revision and correction.

Access & Rights

Repository records are made publicly accessible according to the rights and access conditions specified for each deposit. Public access does not automatically authorize unrestricted reproduction, commercial use, alteration, or redistribution. Users must consult the license and rights statement associated with the individual record.

Some files or supporting evidence may remain restricted because of copyright, privacy, contractual obligations, legal sensitivity, donor restrictions, or the preservation requirements of source materials. A publicly available research record may therefore describe evidence that is not itself available for unrestricted access or reproduction.
